Gustavo Vargas has lived in the Santa Cruz County since arriving in the U.S. at the age of three. Being an immigrant himself, he’s seen firsthand the areas of opportunity to further financially educate his Hispanic community. Through the first career opportunity, he developed the ins and outs on how to navigate through credit worthiness, all while meeting sales goals, to then eventually leading a team in a California jewelry chain.

Joining Bank of America in 2015, Gustavo further developed skills to be more financially savvy and in 2018 joining the Bank’s Mortgage Lending team. Currently sitting as the Community Lending Officer in Watsonville, Gustavo is living out his goal of being out in the community providing education on “The American Dream” of homeownership. Happily married and with two beautiful children, his family is the number one driver to set the example of what one can do in their community.

As a cancer survivor, Leslie understands the value of being present and is sensitive to the emotions involved in real estate transactions. Born in Peru and raised in Belmont, Leslie has lived in the South County and Monterey area since 2012, focusing primarily on first-time homebuyers. She holds a Bachelor's in economics, a BA in Sociology, and a professional retail sales management background. As a triple-negative breast cancer survivor, Leslie is passionate about helping her clients establish legacies for themselves and build wealth for their families. She believes in maintaining a positive mindset, staying resilient in the face of the unknown and always keeping faith.

Leslie believes that those that have should give and is committed to giving back to the community through her involvement with organizations like Sell A Home, Save a Child, and Peace of Mind Dog Rescue. In her spare time, Leslie enjoys dancing, tending to her plants, crafting, cooking and most of all spending quality time with her husband and their young son. Oscar has lived in Monterey County for over 40 years & has been in the mortgage business for over 20 in the Salinas Valley. Oscar’s bilingual and biliterate and has used his skills to help hundreds of families in the Hispanic community obtain homeownership.

He was recently ranked on Scottman’s Guide & Mortgage Executive as one of the top 1% mortgage loan officers in America. A wonderful family man, he and his wife Sheila have been married for over 28 years. They have 3 children

and their granddaughter Myla. Oscar was part of the 1st graduating class at CSUMB & earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. He has had great leadership training in programs such as Rapport Leadership, The CORE Training, and Certified Mortgage Advisors.

David Segura has been a part of the financial industry since 1991. He was previously the Vice President of Community Lending at Bank of America, where he assisted first-time homebuyers in Salinas and Watsonville. He has also worked at Monterey Credit Union, Wells Fargo, and other financial institutions.

My background allows me to really understand the needs of our members so I can best help them,” David said. “I try to deliver advice in a very member- centric way. Every member has a different need, and I really pride myself on putting my knowledge to work for them.” David lives with his wife, daughter, and son. When he’s not in the office he runs local hobby businesses, catering gourmet pizza and Mexican food as time allows.
